About Our Club

Welcome to the Rotary Club of Windsor (1918). The quotes included on these pages are taken directly from our members to tell the story of our club, our moments of pride and the inspiration we spark in each other. It's truly amazing what we can accomplish when hearts and minds work together.

Our motto is "Service above self" and we proudly serve Windsor and Essex County, and communities all around the world. As a Rotary Club, we are able to impact the most vulnerable in our own community, but also scale our network globally to eradicate polio, bring clean water to remote villages and educate girls – just to name a few of our causes.

We have more than 130 members who are all leaders in their mind-set – not necessarily in their job title. We represent a diverse community of like-minded caring people from all walks of life. Our strength is grounded in the variety of perspectives, talents and experiences of our members who work together to make a significant impact in our world, and have a great time doing it.

When you are invited to be part of the Rotary Club of Windsor (1918) you are joining the largest club in District 6400 (which includes clubs in Michigan) and also the one with the richest history of service. We will celebrate our 100th anniversary in 2018.

We know schedules are tight for most people, so Rotary provides you with many options to suit your interests and be involved to the extent you're able. Some of the benefits are:

  • Meet and learn from successful leaders in business and non-profit sectors;
  • Strengthen your leadership skills;
  • Access to fully accountable mechanisms to support your local community and global communities including Ghana, Tanzania, India and Kenya
Many Rotarians have said they wish they had joined sooner. Be part of the Rotary Club of Windsor (1918) and make a difference in our community now and in the future!
