Dear Rotary Club of Windsor (1918),

Our son Nathan recently required a new wheelchair and custom made cushion; due to another spinal fusion surgery and a very bothersome pressure sore/ulcer. As continued cut backs erode our heath care benefits, we did not know where to turn until our occupational therapist suggested the Rotary Club of Windsor (1918) for assistance. The assistive devices program continues to cut back their coverage and we were left with a bill for $1023.00.
The $923.00 that you contributed was a gift of love to our family. We were so overjoyed to receive your approval letter in the mail and just had to send you a big compassionate thank-you. You need to know that your assistance with this financial stressor was received with heartfelt gratitude and appreciation.
Please know that you are making a difference in the lives of special needs families that struggle to obtain the basic equipment required for daily living needs. Your compassionate assistance has removed an obstacle from our families day to day struggles.
We send a wholehearted thank-you to your entire Rotary Club Family.

God Bless You,

Shirley Wuerch & family

Now that President's Night, Meet the Governor Night and Fireworks at The Bistro are over, here's our next big event - THE FISH FRY, taking place Friday, July 21st at Lakewood Park, from 4pm - 8pm.

We need 6 volunteers on Friday, July 21st, from 9am - 12 noon to setup tables and chairs and pop-up tents for ticket sales, token purchases and raffle tickets. Also, we need 6 volunteers on Saturday, July 22nd, from 9am - 12 noon to tear-down and cleanup the site.

Please contact Randy Winters to set up your volunteer schedule.

Attendance is easy through engagement.

This Rotary Club doesn't function at its best without the involvement of all of its members. Are you committed to being involved?
