In celebration of Earth Day, the Rotary Club of Windsor (1918) is partnering with the Pelee Island Bird Observatory to discuss some of the best places to go birding and the best times of the year to plan your visit. If you are a birder or just thinking you might like to experience an incredible diversity of birds in some of the most beautiful natural areas Canada has to offer, you won’t want to miss the Birding Guide to Windsor and Essex County with Jennifer Nantais, Urban Bird Educator.

Foundation Funds to Purchase Wheelchairs
After PDG Rick’s presentation on the Tanzania Project of the Rotary Club of Windsor (1918) to the Rotary Club of Taylor, Past-Presidents Therese Maggioncalda and Linda Newsome made donations to purchase wheelchairs for Hezron (right) and Gidion (left) so that they are better able to enjoy life and attend school. Many thanks to Assistant Governor Timothy Massawe in Tanzania for his work in the purchase and delivery of the wheelchairs on our behalf.
