Special Joint Club Meeting on Feb 15th
We are pleased to announce the joint meeting of the Rotary Club of Windsor (1918), Satellite Club and Rotary Club of LaSalle Centennial
on Tuesday February 15th at 7pm.
The guest speaker will be Lori Anne Jones, President and CEO of Shift Strategies Change Consulting. Lori Anne will be speaking on the topic of Diversity, Equity, and inclusion in Rotary.
Eight appointments have been reserved for the Rotary Club of Windsor (1918) for on Saturday, February 19 and Monday, February 21. Members of our group will be able to book these appointments by joining our team through their donor account.
Joining our team is EASY and can be done through an online donor account on blood.ca or on the GiveBlood app – just tap on the little red “Partners” icon in the bottom right corner of the app, or on the landing page of your online account.
The predictive text allows you to start typing Rotary Cares Windsor-Essex or ROTA0093174 and your team name will pop up. Join the team and say “yes” when it asks whether your info can be shared with the team champion.
Once registered as a member of the team, you’ll have access to the appointments that are reserved for your group on February 19 and February 21. There’s an “Invite” option to click on where you can enter the email addresses of those you’d like to invite and when one of them selects an appointment, the progress of bookings will reflect how many spots have been taken vs. how many are still left.
The RYLA virtual conference will be held March 4 from 5:30 PM-6:30 PM, and March 5 from 10 AM-12 PM and 1 PM-3 PM. Although we will not be in-person, we will still have an inspiring program ready for our participants. We encourage Rotarians to identify and sponsor highly qualified student leaders. The RYLA price has been reduced to US$ 75 which includes a RYLA T-shirt and all conference materials. Participants can register using the link below. https://forms.gle/gp9kiVzichkVuFbz9
