2022 SALVATION ARMY CHRISTMAS KETTLE CAMPAIGN

We need volunteers for the kettles on the following Saturdays at Devonshire Mall,  December 10th, 17th and 24th. 
 
There are two locations this year, Lush (by the movie theatres) and RW&Co. (in the centre Hallway, just down from Chapters).

Knitting Service Project 

Tuesday, Nov 22, the Windsor (1918) Satelliters knitted scarves for the homeless.

 Led by Pierre Boulos and Bev Cyr, the group shared great fellowship doing hands-on service.

 
 

 

Congratulations Dr. Jasim

 
Our long-time member, Dr. Saad Jasim was recognized for his outstanding contributions to his profession and his community at the Professional Engineers Ontario Awards.

Over the past 25 years, Dr. Jasim has focused his professional engineering work on health and safety, providing safe drinking water to the public. His experience has helped many industries, municipalities, and educational institutions in dealing with complex water quality issues. The first to introduce Ozone as a Primary Disinfectant in Ontario, the Founding CEO of the Walkerton Clean Water Centre, and the First Canadian to serve as President of the International Ozone Association, and many other achievements.

Congratulations Dr. Jasim on this outstanding achievement! We're very happy to share this news with our membership and even happier to have your expertise in our club!

Waboose speaking on her research concerning the Residential School
System, and the government compensation process for the survivors.  All
