You Made an Impact, Sally Fest Volunteers
We were proud to serve as the presenting sponsor of this year's Sally Fest hosted by the Salvation Army Centre of Hope, joining volunteers, community partners, and neighbours for an evening centered on connection, compassion, and community.
Together, more than 250 meals were served, bringing people together to share food, conversation, and hope.
One of the most inspiring parts of the evening was seeing residents of The Salvation Army actively involved in every aspect of the event — from helping with setup and cleanup to creating beautiful handcrafted artwork that raised funds for future resident activity programs. Their contributions were a powerful reminder that building community means creating opportunities for everyone to participate and give back.
Thank you to The Salvation Army, our fellow community partners, dedicated volunteers, and everyone who helped make Sally Fest such a meaningful success. Events like these demonstrate the power of collaboration and embody Rotary's commitment to Service Above Self.

Congratulations, President Gordon Drake and the new Board of Directors 2026-2027
On Monday, our Club proudly celebrated the induction of President Gordon Drake, who will lead our membership through the 2026–2027 Rotary year.
This marks the beginning of a new chapter as President Drake accepted the role and shared his vision for the year ahead. We were honoured to welcome District Governor Kim Spirou as well as Assistant District Governor Ted Lovell, who assisted with the induction, and whose presence made the occasion even more special.
Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate this important milestone. We look forward to another year of fellowship, service, and making a positive impact in our community under President Drake’s leadership

The Rotary Club of Amherstburg is hosting a Mid-Summer Dinner on Thursday, July 23, from 4:30–9:00 p.m. at GL Heritage Brewery.
Enjoy a delicious dinner, a drink, live entertainment, and a silent auction while supporting local Rotary initiatives, including the club's public access AED project.

We want to continue to do great work locally and globally, but we need you! To qualify for District 6400 grants, our members must each donate $100 USD (the per capita giving amount) to the Annual Fund.
The grants allow our club to complete many of our charitable projects and initiatives throughout the year. Your donation must be made by the end of May each year to qualify.
