Monday Recap

Monday’s meeting featured an exciting update from Ron Arkell on the next phase of the WASH Project. We were also pleased to welcome special guest Steven Durant, President of the Rotary Club of Detroit, to join us.

You're invited

Following Steve Durant’s visit to our club this past Monday, the Rotary Club of Detroit has kindly invited our membership to attend their meeting on Wednesday, June 3rd, where President John Curtin will also have the opportunity to speak.

Details:

June 3, 2026, at 12:00 PM
12:00 PM to 01:30 PM
Detroit Athletic Club (241 Madison, St. Detroit, MI 48226)

The meeting will take place at the beautiful Detroit Athletic Club, known for its outstanding atmosphere and excellent food.

The featured speaker will be David T. Provost presenting:
“The Business of Buying Banks: Insights from David T. Provost”

David Provost is one of Michigan’s most accomplished banking executives, having founded and led multiple successful banks, including Talmer Bank and Chemical Bank, which became the largest bank headquartered in Michigan during his tenure. Beyond banking, he has served in major leadership roles with organizations including the Detroit Economic Club, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, and currently serves as Chair of the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan.

It should be an outstanding meeting and a great opportunity for fellowship with our friends across the river.

Lunch is $40 USD and can be paid during registration. Self-parking in Deck is included with the cost of lunch. Valet Parking is a separate fee and cost is $10

Please RSVP by Monday, June 1, at 3:00 p.m. using the link below:
