Ghana Project Operation Smile - Wash Project

The Rotary Club of Windsor (1918) is thrilled to announce a significant achievement in collaboration with our partners at the Wa Rotary Club in Ghana! Our club raised funds to cover all operational expenses for the Operation Smile Orphanage WASH project, including the acquisition of toilets and sinks, totaling an estimated 31,000 CAD. The completion of the WASH project at Nakwabi, Operation Smiles Orphanage, has been officially handed over to Rev. Sister Jane who is aiming to address and enhance the sanitation challenges faced by the children at Nakwabi. Deep gratitude is extended to both Rotary Clubs for the triumphant execution of Operation WASH and the positive impact it promises for the children. The members of the Wa Rotary Club express their heartfelt appreciation for the collaborative effort, acknowledging the opportunity to bring joy to the lives of these youngsters through the partnership between our two clubs.
