Summer Doubles Schedule

Beginner Division:
Jr players are usually new to the game and begin as early as grade 5.

Intermediate Division:Intermediate players have one or more years of experience playing beach volleyball. Also, they have played for either a volleyball club team or their school teams for a couple of years minimum.

Senior Division:Senior players are high school-age players that have two or more years of beach volleyball experience or have played on their High School or Club teams for usually a couple of years minimum.
- King/ Queen of Beach Division: For intermediate or senior division players. Two hours of tournament play every Wednesday evening.
The King/Queen of the Beach Tournament Series welcomes all our Advanced and Intermediate players free for Riverside Club members (and $150 for non-Riverside players). Please arrive 5 minutes before the start of play so our Coaches can assign you to the appropriate court. Court assignments will be based on your previous placement in your pools. Players may move up or down from week to week depending on their performance in previous matches. New players may be placed at the discretion of our Coaches for their first week, thereafter it is up to them to demonstrate their skill level.
Non-Riverside players are welcome to participate for a fee of $150 or $100 for the entire summer season. Players may enter as a doubles team or be assigned a partner upon arrival. We will cap participation at a maximum of 24 players per night initially.
At the conclusion of the season, the top 2 Men and Women point collectors will earn themselves guaranteed placement (first right of refusal) in the Pro Division of Beach Bash 2024, taking place on August 24. This tournament is hosted in collaboration with Riverside Beach Volleyball Club. They have been in operation for over 20 years and its beach volleyball program began in 2016 at College Boreal. They operate 3 levels of beach clinics three days per week and host youth weekend tournaments. Players range from 10 to 23 years of age and play across three divisions - Beginner, Intermediate and Competitive beginning in May.
