You're invited to participate in our annual volleyball fundraiser

Rotary (1918) Youth Beach Volleyball Tournament Series 2022

We're excited to announce our second annual Rotary Youth Beach Volleyball Tournament Series. Rotary (1918), with the support of College Boreal, are working together to raise money for local and international projects.

Last year, proceeds from the event benefitted freshwater projects in rural Ghana, West Africa. This year the Youth involved in this event will choose how to proceeds are distributed by selecting one local and one international project!

Family Tournament.   (Any combination of Family Members).
The start time for all the above events is 10:00 a.m.
Approximate finish time 2:00 p.m.
Over the past 3 years, we have been fortunate to have not cancelled any of our tournaments due to weather; however, anything is possible. We play through most weather conditions but cannot play during thunderstorms or torrential rain.
Tournament Divisions:
Tournaments are grouped by either age or skill level as well as male or female. Sometimes, however, based on what players register and their skill levels, combining different age groups or Male and Female divisions makes more sense. We think everyone has the most fun when players are grouped by their skill level! If we choose to regroup players based on their skills, we will contact you to advise you of the changes.
The cost for this year's tournaments will be $60.00 per team, and again, all proceeds go to the Windsor Rotary (1918) projects picked by the youth! Payments must be made through our PayPal Account.
Tournaments will be held at College Boreal Courts (7515 Forest Glade Dr, Windsor, ON ).
Please note there are no on-site washrooms.  (Tim Hortons and Princess Auto have washrooms across the street)
What to Bring:
As with any beach volleyball tournament, sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, sand socks, fresh fruits, and a towel to clean up afterwards are suggested.
Spectators should also bring lawn chairs, and if you are sitting on the grass, umbrellas or tents are permitted. We will provide pizza for all the players.
Covid Protocols:
Covid protocols are still in effect, so please no high fives or congregating on the courts or in viewing areas. Tournaments will be played unless there is torrential rain or lightning in the area.  (20-minute lightning delay should lightning occur. Courts will be open at 9:45 a.m. For registration and warm-ups.
Please contact Neil McTavish with any questions at or text or call at (519) 791-7263.

There are limited tournament spots, so register early to avoid disappointment.
