Monarch Express

September 10, 2022 - The Monarch Express made a stop in Windsor at the CP Rail Yard as it follows the Monarch's migration path from Canada to Mexico! We learned about pollinators and endangered Monarchs, listened to poetry and children enjoyed themselves with crafts. Donations will go towards the purchase of 60,000 Oyamel Fir trees to be planted in Mexico (the tree Monarchs spend the winter on) The Monarch Express was presented by Rotary Clubs: Windsor-Roseland, LaSalle Centennial, Windsor-St Clair, Windsor-Walkerville and Windsor (1918).
