The Salvation Army in collaboration with Advance Business Systems needs your help this holiday season to collect toys and non-perishable food items for families in need. You can make your donation during their drive-by event happening Dec 4th.
Greater Windsor Region, Ontario – Advance Business Systems in partnership with The Salvation Army in Windsor is promoting and facilitating the “Hope for the Holidays” Toy Drive Challenge to provide Christmas toys for children and food for families in the greater Windsor area who require such support.
In 2019, The Salvation Army in Windsor distributed toy bags to 1266 children and Christmas food hamper to 428 families. Each family received provisions for a Christmas meal and families with young children received a toy hamper, containing new toys, and other items appropriate for the child’s age. The Salvation Army supported families throughout the greater Windsor area including Windsor, LaSalle, and Tecumseh. The community was invited to drop off new unwrapped toys, non-perishable food items, and/or cash donations.
Advance Business Systems is conducting the 2020 Hope for the Holidays Toy Drive Challenge, encouraging local businesses, church groups, friends and family to donate new unwrapped toys, non-perishable food items and/or monetary donations. “Helping local children, especially around the holidays has always been close to our hearts” says Jack Jorgensen, President and CEO of Advance Business Systems. All donations can be delivered to Advance Business Systems at 3290 Jefferson Blvd on Friday, December 4th from 7am to 3pm. Please note it will be a drive thru operation with safe practices in place. “The drive thru concept is a fun & safe way to execute, especially this year” offers Candice Dennis, Sales & Marketing Manager at Advance. “Pull up and our team of elves will unload your donations for you” she adds.
