Our Monday meeting honoured the life and legacy of Ian Henderson. He has earned the Rotary International Major Donor Level 4 status for his contributions to the fund. Friends and family shared beautiful memories of Ian. He is missed by all.
Past Presidents Jules and Gord led the Monday presentation discussing the Joint Fundraising Committee. They outlined what has happened since the launch of the committee and they’re excited about the mix of old and new members to help bring new funds to the club. COVID has had a significant financial loss to the foundation fund.
The club does not set the strategy, the direction or the charitable focus of the club, which is owned by the member and the Club board.
They presented two concepts and they hope to release more information soon.
