Thanks to 17 members and friends, the kitchen at The Salvation Army is now sparkling clean!

Using professional cleaning supplies provided by Alpine Construction and JaniSafe, the kitchen was scrubbed from top to bottom; stainless steel equipment was polished and tables and chairs in the dining room were washed. Within 2 hours, this army of volunteers had the job done and were able to share in a bit of fellowship along with homemade cookies.

Also on the agenda was the preparation of 105 “Survival Kits for Living”. These fun little packages provide a bit of encouragement to those who may be having a “gloomy” day. Members were encouraged to take a few kits with them to give to anyone they felt were in need of a bit of cheering up.
