18 Rotarians tuned in to hear Imran Abdool speak on the article he co-authored with Dr. Hance Clark on the lessons to learn from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Abdool stressed that Canada must win the war on pandemic preparedness but too often health care has been under-funded and lacking in necessary resources. There is little interest in health-care funding in times of plenty. A question-and-answer period followed Abdool’s presentation leaving members with much to contemplate.
