At this Tuesday's meeting we had the pleasure of hearing from Dave Garlick, a local educator and author.
During the pandemic, in order to keep his mind occupied, Mr. Garlick gathered a collection of stories from his time as a principal. He found reflecting on his career lead to him being less angry, and happier as he often laughed at the memories. These stories have been compiled into a book, The Principal Chronicles. For the next few days, anyone who purchases his book and mentions Rotary, he will donate $2 to Rotary. His book can be purchased at local book stores, or on-line from his web site www.dsgarlick.ca.
