In light of October being Polio Awareness Month, we watched a video documentary called Two Magic Drops.
This short documentary was filmed on the ground in India by Platinum Peek. Co-founder, Soren Dickens, traveled to Delhi with a Rotary group to film Rotarians distributing vaccines to children in a worldwide effort to eradicate polio. The trip took the group to places such as the majestic Taj Mahal, "The Pink City", and Amer Fort, while also exposing the group to the villages where the vaccinations took place. We then discussed the efforts of 1918 and local Rotarians in the worldwide polio efforts.

Next week (Oct 26) will focus on internal Club business process, volunteering for projects, and donating to the Foundation.
