Hands-on helping with our Rotary Satellite Club.
Members met at the Unemployment Help Centre on Cantelon Dr. to assist with the preparation of vegetable soup. After a very short business meeting, everyone put on aprons, hairnets and plastic gloves and chopped vegetables which will be made into soup for distribution throughout Ontario. A good time was had by all and chef Tony was most appreciative of all the help. After the “chopping”, members met in the lunchroom for a bit of fellowship and food (prepared in the Centre’s kitchen) before adjourning.
