Sunday, December 9th, 2018: Musicians from the Windsor Symphony Orchestra, the University of Windsor School of Creative Arts, and the local community donated their time and talents to help raise money to keep Eva, a Tanzanian Maasai woman, in school.

This was the 5th Annual Tunes for Tanzania event in support of Eva who was spared from becoming a young bride at the age of 16 from the proceeds of the first Tunes in 2014. Thanks to the generosity of the Windsor community she is now pursuing a diploma in Pharmaceutical Studies. This year’s event surpassed it's $2,000 goal in support of Eva’s 2nd year in Pharmacy school. Beautiful and powerful music was followed by delicious, authentic Tanzanian food and a fun Tanzanian marketplace with beautiful fabrics, beadwork and more.
