Here's what you missed if you weren't able to attend!
Governor Aruna presented Clinton Beckford with a COG Award to recognize his service to Rotary in E.D.I. including his role at the zone level.
PDG Fred Sorrel and Bill Wilkinson were remembered at the ceremony on Sunday morning.
Peter was an excellent EMCEE for the Thursday Night Social and during one of the Friday morning sessions.
Rick was EMCEE for the Saturday night Awards session.
Rick gave a presentation on Tanzania projects and Linda Morrow from Roseland spoke about Ghana projects, both presentations highlighting our club’s significant involvement.
Rick and Mike enjoyed golfing together on Saturday afternoon with Chris and Neil from the Essex Rotary Club.
Ed Boycott was recognized for his having achieved PHF + 4 status; and Peter, Mary Lou and Leona became members of the district End Polio Society, committing $100 per year until polio is eradicated.
The following are some important numbers that we wanted to share with our membership!
Since 1985, Rotarians in D6400 have given,
$8.4M to the Annual Fund
$2.5M to PolioPlus
Add in gifts to the Endowment and other funds the members have given close to $15M to TRF
The district also has 199 Major Donors and 108 Bequest Society members (all-time)
Currently, the District
Is involved (as host sponsor, international sponsor, or contributor) in 38 active global grants with a total value of about $6.3 million.
Is involved in 3 global grants in the draft stage, 3 in authorization stage, and 2 that are waiting for approval from the Rotary Foundation with a total value of just under $1 million.

VOLUNTEERS WANTED!
AIP 2022
Fellow Rotarians,
We are looking for volunteers for Art in the Park 2022! This year the event will be held on Saturday, June 4 from 10 am to 7 pm and Sunday, June 5 from 10am to 5pm.
We are in need of Rotarian Volunteers!!
Positions include managing cash at the gates, pop stand, sales of pop/beer, and in the cash room. We are also in need of Rotarians to help with set up and tear down after the event and a few jobs within the park during operations.
If you are SMART SERVE certified then we would greatly appreciate it if you take on 1 of the 4 shifts on Saturday from 10 to 7 or Sunday from 10 to 5. We need Smart Serve volunteers to help with the sale of tokens for beer and to assist at the pop stand that is selling alcohol.
