We had so much to celebrate this past Monday! Please join us in congratulating John Curtin, the newly appointed 2025–2026 President of the Rotary Club of Windsor (1918), along with our incoming Board of Directors!
We also had the privilege of recognizing our incredible RYLA participants during a special certificate ceremony—what an inspiring group of young leaders!
About our new President:
John has been an active and dedicated member of our club for many years, consistently demonstrating a deep commitment to service and community leadership. His passion for Rotary’s values and his vision for the future make him the ideal person to lead us into the year ahead.
We’re excited to support John in this new role, and we look forward to everything we’ll achieve together under his leadership.

One of Rotary's major priorities is membership growth, extension, and retention. What would happen if every Rotarian brought a potential member to a meeting in July?
The best route to increase membership is to involve every Rotarian. Everyone surely has at least one friend! Exercise that friendship and let those friends learn about "Service above Self" and the fun of being a Rotarian!
Membership is EVERY ROTARIAN'S business. Membership is too important to be delegated to just one or two ROTARIANS in the Club or even a small committee and, certainly, membership is too important to focus on it only one calendar month of the year.
Membership in Rotary cannot be promoted by simply explaining to prospective members all of the rules, policies, procedures, and folklore about Rotary or The Rotary Foundation. The hook is telling prospective new members WHY you are a ROTARIAN, why you have remained engaged in Rotary over the years, and why Rotary is important enough to you that you commit time, energy, and dollars. Your story is a powerful tool that should be used.
The Club needs to be flexible and innovative in order to retain existing members as well as the new members. "Being a friend" is certainly the first step toward improving retention!
Please look for opportunities to bring your friends to a Rotary meeting and show your friends what we're all about.
We are looking for a warm and welcoming host family for a young student from Brazil who will be participating in an exchange program Jan-July 2026.
The ideal host family lives near Massey Secondary School, allowing her to stay at the same school throughout her exchange.
