SOLD OUT FISH FRY FOR GHANA

We are excited to announce that the 10th Annual Fish Fry for Ghana was a sold-out event. The event sold over 300 tickets and the co-chairs, Karen Durocher and Ron Arkell continue to receive community donations.

Proceeds from this event will be used to drill a well in Tankuri, Ghana, purchase running shoes for the school children near Tony's Memorial Park and as a donation to a nearby orphanage.

Thank you to all those who supported this event, both through the purchase of tickets and by donating their time. We also have to thank our many generous sponsors for the success of this event.

We look forward to hosting the 11th annual event next year!

The funds we generate through bingos to our Club coffers finances our charitable activities.
We have been awarded six time slots over the next two months and are required to have two volunteers in attendance at each designated time. Each time slot covers a two hour period and it does not involve the selling of bingo cards.
If you have not volunteered for a bingo session over the past year or two, you will have to go through a training process

Please contact Bob Fields at RNFields@cogeco.ca to book your time slot
