The City of Windsor Reception
Last weekend, we had the honour of attending the City of Windsor Reception at the stunning Willistead Manor. This special event brought together City Council, City administration, the Willistead Manor Inc. Board of Directors, the Friends of Willistead, descendants of Hiram Walker, and other distinguished guests to celebrate the donors and supporters of this historic landmark.
As part of our ongoing commitment to preserving Willistead Manor, our club proudly presented a cheque for $89,218.24 to the Willistead Restoration Fund. This donation, representing a portion of the proceeds from Art in the Park 2024, highlights the incredible power of community.
This milestone would not have been possible without the unwavering dedication of our members, the generosity of our sponsors, the talent of our exhibitors, and the enthusiasm of our community supporters.
Thank you for your time, energy, and talents—because of you, we’ve been able to support one of Windsor’s most iconic landmarks and help preserve a piece of its history.
For context, last year, we contributed $87,364.59. This year, we’re thrilled to have surpassed that milestone, reaffirming our shared commitment to protecting this historic treasure.
