Bingo Impact Statement
It is because of the generous contributions from All-Star Gaming, that the Rotary Club of Windsor (1918) is able to support organizations like the John McGivney Centre.
As an Occupational Therapist for over 25 years, Melanie shares her gratitude for the work and financial support that ur Rotary Club has provided for the centre and the impact that it has had on families.
The Rotary club has been tremendously helpful to our families in the following ways:
You work together with other funding agencies to help families get more expensive pieces of equipment such as porch and ceiling lifts
Your funding timeline varies from that of Easter seals so that when equipment needs arise in the summer, families are not left waiting until January to apply
You are able to help support the purchase of needed equipment that other funding sources do not include change tables, hand splints, and supportive seating (not just mobility devices)
In short, Rotary funding has been immensely valuable for many families. I hope that you are able to continue this important service in our community.
