National Indigenous History Month
Orange Shirt Photo is requested
“June is National Indigenous History Month, we ask that you support this national time of mourning to honour these children. HIP (Honouring Indigenous People) is asking everyone to wear orange. Let’s walk together and show our support.”
To demonstrate our support and to honour the innocent children whose lives have been lost, we would like to make a statement and invite you to participate.
Please take a photo of yourself and/or your family and friends (safely), all wearing orange and send this photo to Jodi by email (jodi.ouellette@rotary1918.com) or text (519-991-6510) by Tuesday, June 8th.
Taylor will be sharing a social media collage of members who wish to participate. This is a small gesture to show our support!
