India Children in Crisis Update
Mr. Parimal Naik, the coordinator of the project from the Rotary Club of Gandevi, is happy that they have been able to serve about 90 children so far. In the coming weeks, they are planning to launch their mental health initiative to support children in processing their experiences and provide them with emotional support.
Parimal says, "The project is going smoothly, and the beneficiaries and their families are “speechless” at the generosity of our club."
Once again, we would like to thank our club for its support in helping this project exceed its fundraising goal!

Camp to Camp: Easter Seals Event

Easter Seals has teamed up with The Rotary Club of Windsor (1918) to enable a Fall Fitness Challenge entitled Camp to Camp, which will take place across the region.
This year, The Rotary Club of Windsor (1918) is taking part in Easter Seals' Virtual Event Camp to Camp! We will be moving 50 km in support of both raising funds for Easter Seals' 100th Anniversary Centennial and developing our Club's programs and services through a shared 50/50 split.
With your help, we can celebrate the Centennial of Easter Seals in our community in 2022 while illuminating hope for all those we serve!
Help us honour our pledge to plant 300 trees! We need your help!
Foundation & Membership Gala
This event will be held virtually, Tuesday, November 9th at 7:00 pm, to honour and salute both our newest members and Rotarians in our district who have given to the Rotary Foundation and earned either a new Paul Harris Fellow recognition or achieved another Major Donor milestone since the 2021 District Conference.
We are very excited that the Rotary International President-Elect Jennifer Jones and PolioPlus Chair Mike McGovern will be joining us! They will be our keynote speakers, and Jennifer will personally install all members who have joined our district since July 1st.
This is also a fundraising event for the foundation and you may attend and be involved in several ways:
Ticket options:
$30.00 ticket: This gets you the link to participate in the event. All the money raised will be donated to the foundation.
$120.00 ticket: this gives you a direct donation of $100 sustaining for the Rotary year plus a link to participate in the event.
$50 ticket to a VIP post-event reception with our special guests.
We will have a live auction and you can buy a Raffle ticket for $100 US and the grand prize winner will get a choice of live auction item as the prize.

2. Indian Dinner for 8 by DG Aruna
3. 3 day/2 night trip to Mackinac Island with Private air travel staying at the Grand Hotel

Heather Grondin from Windsor Detroit Bridge Authority joined us Monday for an update about the new bridge! Heather explained that the new bridge is important to meet transportation goals, to prepare for future capacity, and to improve border processing.
