It's Immunization Week

This year's theme is "Vaccines bring us closer".

For centuries vaccines have protected us against diseases that threaten lives and prohibit our development. They allow us to live freely without the threat of illnesses and diseases like smallpox and polio. They protect the ones we love most and our communities!

As advancements in vaccines continue to bring us closer to a world free from the likes of TB and cervical cancer and put an end to suffering from childhood diseases like measles, access is still a huge barrier here and around the globe.

But we can do something about it right here in Windsor-Essex by ensuring that members of our community have access to the Covid vaccine.

CABS FOR COVID

Please consider making a donation to Cabs for Covid. Your donation will help to make transportation to vaccine locations accessible to all.

The Windsor-Essex Chamber of Commerce is working with the Windsor Essex Community Health Unit, Vets Cab, Sun Parlour Cab, Green Shield Canada, and SunLife to offer this program which will provide transportation to vaccine clinics for those who cannot do so on their own, whether due to financial, physical or other challenges.

Annual Youth Beach Volleyball

The Riverside Rage Youth Beach Volleyball Clinic is now accepting applications for the season. While start dates are pending Covid updates and weather patterns, there are limited spaces available so register early to save your spot.
